Collection: BOX SHAFTS

Box lacrosse shafts: durability first

Box is harder on equipment than field. Contact is constant, the space is tight, and a shaft that survives a field season can fail indoors. Everything in this collection is built with that in mind.

Choosing by role

  • Forwards — you need power through traffic without losing hand speed. The 175g and 210g short sticks both work; take the 210g if you have broken shafts before.
  • Transition — you switch ends constantly, so you want moderate weight and enough strength to take a check on the way back. The 210g is the safe pick.
  • Defense — go heavier and longer. The Warhorse-HD is a 36" carbon composite defensive shaft built specifically for indoor contact.

Get your length right

Box defensive players can typically run a complete stick between 40" and 46", which usually means a shaft in the 32"–36" range. That extra reach makes a real difference when you're trying to dislodge the ball in tight space. Confirm your league's specific limits before ordering — box rules differ from field rules and vary by association.
