Which one

Warhorse-HD — 36 inches. HD is heavy duty, and it's the reason this shaft exists. The extra six inches give you reach on a cross-check and leverage on a lift, and the wall is built to take a two-handed chop without flinching. This is the box defender's shaft.

Darkhorse-210 — 30 inches. At 210 grams it's the most durable short shaft we make, which is why transition players run it. If you're breaking the ball out and finishing the play at the other end, you want one stick that can do both jobs — not a defensive pole you have to trade off the floor.

Picking a length

There's no single right answer, and it depends on how your team plays you. Pure defenders who rarely leave the defensive end take the 36-inch Warhorse-HD every time. Two-way transition players who take offensive shifts usually want the 30-inch Darkhorse-210, because reach matters less than being able to shoot with it. If you play both roles on the same shift, most players carry the 30.
