The two heads

RC1 — our all-purpose field head. It works at attack, midfield, short-stick D and close defense. The only two jobs it isn't built for are faceoff and goalie. If you're buying one head and you're not sure, this is the one. Also available as the RC1 N2O, which is the same head in clear.

Darkhorse — cut for offense. Attack and midfield players who live on the shot and the feed. Narrower through the throat than the RC1, and it rewards a player who wants the ball out fast.

Strung or unstrung

Strung heads come pocket-ready with our Select 10 Diamond performance mesh — take it out of the box, screw it on, play. Unstrung is $10 less and gives you the pocket you want. Neither is better; it depends on whether you string.
