Clear takes dye differently.

On a clear head, dye comes out translucent, so light shows through the color instead of sitting on top of it. It's why clear has become one of the most popular looks in the sport.

Use the right dye. Standard liquid dyes, like regular Rit, won't take on this plastic. You need a pro-level powder dye, such as Rit Pro Line or Lax Dip.

Dye it any way you want. Dyeing does not void the Lifetime-ish Warranty.

About the bubbles

You may notice small micro air bubbles in the plastic. That's normal for how clear heads are molded, and it's purely cosmetic. It doesn't affect how the head plays or strings.

Some brands charge around $120 for clear heads with an ultra-glossy, bubble-free finish. The N2O gives you the same shape and the clear look for $54.99.

Every head ships free within the US, with no minimum order. Unstrung heads leave Michigan within 1 to 2 business days. Strung heads are strung to order and leave within 2 to 5 business days. Transit takes 1 to 5 business days depending on distance. Need it sooner? Expedited shipping is available at checkout.

Lifetime-ish Warranty

Break the head and 5LAX, the manufacturer, replaces it. No time limit, no receipt required, and it doesn't matter where you bought it. Dyeing does not void coverage.

Covered: the head cracks, snaps or breaks, wherever it gives. Not covered: normal wear, or the mesh, strings and stringing on a strung head. The warranty covers the head only. The catch, and the reason it's called Lifetime-ish: you pay shipping on the replacement. Coverage is US and Canada only.

Is the N2O a different head from the RC1?
Same shape, same weight, same numbered sidewall holes. The difference is the clear plastic, which is more expensive to make and takes dye as a translucent color. Questions? Call or text Dave at 734.474.1338 or email dave@primosportsco.com.

What is Shaft Sight?
A cutout on the side of the throat that lets you see the shaft is pushed all the way in. On heads with a solid throat, it's easy to leave the head not fully seated without knowing, which can lead to premature breaks in the throat. With Shaft Sight, you can check before you tighten the screw.

Are the bubbles in the plastic a defect?
No. Small micro bubbles are normal for how clear heads are molded, and they're purely cosmetic.

Is it legal for high school and college?
Yes. The N2O is NCAA and NFHS legal.

Will it fit my shaft?
Yes. The universal throat fits standard 1-inch diameter shafts.
